Applications are now open for the 2020 Parade!

Thank you for your interest in the Tucson Rodeo Parade Entry. If you have any questions, please call the TRPC office. 

 

Here are a few of the important items you will
need to review to complete this application.

Requirements: All entries must be Western, Mexican, Native American or old-fashioned. All applications must include a narrative announcer’s script (no longer than six lines) for TV, grandstand, judging and publicity. Entries will not be accepted without an announcer’s script.

Parade Entry Application - 2020

  • PRE-PARADE CONTACT


    This person is responsible for the application, media package and payment of the bill.


  • PARADE DAY CONTACT


    This adult will be with the entry on Parade day and is responsible for all participants following directions and abiding by the Rules and Regulations. The Responsible Adult will address questions and deficiencies with Parade officials if necessary. He/she will ensure he/she has signed release for every minor participating and adequate adult supervision for every youth in the entry. Such documents must be available upon request the morning of the Parade and must accompany the entry.
  • Please list a phone number that will be reachable on Parade Day. All coordination will be completed with this person for your entry in the Parade.


  • ABOUT YOUR ENTRY


    We like to know about our parade entries and learn about your history. For Example: If you have been assigned a wagon with historic significance. Do your entry participants have a historically unique background? Is there anything that makes your entry interesting or unique? Do you have an honorary or VIP riding in your entry? Entries will not be accepted without an announcer’s script.
  • These categories vie for prizes. Please choose the one most appropriate for your entry.
  • We like to know about our parade entrants and find lots of history in the family and participants in our parade. For example: Does the wagon have history? Has your family owned the wagon for generations? Do your entry participants have a historical family background? Anything that makes your entry interesting and unique. Thank you!
  • Please enter a number from 0 to 35.
  • ABOUT YOUR EQUIPMENT


    A picture is required with the application if not using Parade Committee rental equipment. Please include a photo of your horse-drawn equipment. (You will receive further instruction in receipt email and have a box to upload after submitting form.)

  • FEES


  • Entry Fees are required to hold your position in the parade line-up. You can pay by credit card at the bottom of this application today. Or mail a check in by January 1st, 2019.


  • ADVERTISING FEES


    -Advertising fees must accompany your application and covers the space on your parade entry that a commercial logo is used.
    -Signs must be in proportion to the size of the wagon.
    -All entrants that fail to pay in advance for sign options will be billed after the Parade.


  • RELEASE AND CONSENT FORM




    Your completed, signed and/or electronically submitted Application Form is your ACCEPTANCE, on behalf of your entry and all your entry’s participants, of all Tucson Rodeo Parade (TRP) Rules and Regulations.

    The Tucson Rodeo Parade Committee assumes no responsibility in connections with, and makes no representation as to the safety of any parade entry, in whole or in part, solely by reason of compliance with TRP’s Rules and Regulations.

  • All applications are reviewed prior to acceptance. We reserve the right to screen (and potentially reject) any application. A mailing containing your line-up instructions will be mailed to you two weeks prior to Parade day.

    You will receive a followup email to your entry after submitting. It will be sent to the first email address entered on your entry form above.
