Greetings Amigos!

The time for “La Fiesta de Los Vaqueros” is here again!

The Tucson Rodeo Parade:  February 23, 2012

You are cordially invited to join the celebration by participating in Tucson’s Rodeo Parade, the longest non-motorized parade in the world, Thursday, February 23, 2012.  This is the 87th year for our Southwest Heritage Parade.  To that end, all entries must be Western, Native American, or Old-Fashioned.  This year, to recognize Arizona’s Statehood Centennial, we are encouraging entries to use this statehood theme.

The Rodeo Parade Committee annually reviews the Parade and its operations to maintain its Southwestern Theme and to improve safety and efficiency.  Included in the review are suggestions received from viewers, participants, and volunteers, as well as a committee critique following the parade.  Since changes routinely occur to our practices, potential parade participants should carefully read the Rules and Regulations and the Application Form.

Parade Entries are accepted on a competitive and time restricted basis.
